South Florida cowgirls and cowboys are brushing off their Stetsons and polishing their boots in anticipation of the 23rd annual “Caribbean Cowboy Ball.”
The evening, slated for Jan. 30, will benefit the George Snow Scholarship Fund. This one-of-a-kind event takes place in Boca Raton‘s Red Reef Park along the Intracostal Waterway.
The evening will include an open bar, dining, music from Center Stage, dancing and a unique auction and raffle. It culminates with a spectacular fireworks display over the Intracostal.
A highlight of the “Caribbean Cowboy Ball” is the annual awards presentation.
“This year’s recipient of the Community Service Award is Michael Daszkal, managing partner of Daszkal Bolton, an individual who has shown an ongoing commitment toward improving the quality of life in this community,” said Tim Snow, president of the George Snow Scholarship Fund. “Paradise Bank, which is headquartered in Boca Raton with branches in Delray and Fort Lauderdale, will be presented the Corporate Community Service Award.”
Honorary chairs for this year’s event are Robin Trompeter and Andy Scott. Committee members include Jan Dymtrow, Frank Feiler, Bruce Godwin, Diana Hailey, Brenda Husinka, Elizabeth Murdoch Titcomb, Jayne Scala, JoAnne Williams and Sherry Winter.
