May 30, 2020 was a day of great importance and tremendous gratitude for the George Snow Scholarship Fund. In addition to celebrating our 38th anniversary, we made financial commitments of $1.5 million in scholarships and scholar support services to 161 very deserving young scholars.
Although we were unable to provide the traditional awards ceremony, our staff got creative and planned a socially distanced Drive Through Awards Reception. Our team gathered to meet these special young people as they drove to the front of our building to recieve their college supply gift bags and have their photos taken. Please know that we could not accomplish this without the hard work and generosity of our donors, volunteers, corporate and community partners.
