Harley Michel
Data and Documentation Coordinator
Born and raised in Palm Beach County, Harley Michel graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Family and Child Sciences and a minor in Education. During her time at FSU, she took on leadership roles, serving as Secretary and Community Service Chair for the National Council of Negro Women, as well as Outreach Chair and Student Services Liaison for the FSU Union Board. These experiences fueled her passion for empowering students and ensuring they have the support needed to achieve their goals.
After graduation, Harley had the privilege of teaching at a private school in Palm Beach County for Autistic students. This experience gave her a profound appreciation for the role of education not only in providing knowledge but also in helping students build self-confidence and discover their identities. Witnessing the transformative power of personalized support deepened her commitment to making a lasting impact in the field of education.
Over the past few years, Harley has developed a passion for administrative work, particularly in data management, recognizing its vital role in driving educational success. As the Data and Documentation Coordinator, she focuses on managing and analyzing data to streamline processes and enhance the effectiveness of the organization. She is excited to leverage her skills and experience to help further the mission of the George Snow Scholarship Fund.
Outside of her professional life, Harley enjoys traveling, trying new activities, and spending time with loved ones. She believes that children are our future, and by investing in their education and growth, we are building a better world for all.
