Snow Success Center: A Campaign to Build Additional Offices for our Scholar Services team

Purpose
The George Snow Scholarship Fund has been a cornerstone in supporting the dreams of deserving students in South Florida. As our organization continues to experience remarkable growth, we seek your support to fund an office expansion project that will allow us to increase our impact and further our mission. This expansion is essential to meet the rising demand for our scholarship programs and comprehensive services, which help students overcome financial barriers to success in higher education.
Current Status
In the last several years, the George Snow Scholarship Fund has seen significant growth in both the number of scholarship applications and the breadth of services we offer. This growth has led to a higher volume of applicants, more scholarship awards, and an increased need for dedicated staff, volunteers, and support services. However, our current office space has reached its capacity and is no longer sufficient to accommodate the expansion of our team and the services we provide for our scholars. This additional space will ensure the low-cost infrastructure necessary for future expansion.
To continue our work and meet the growing demand, we need additional office space that will allow us to properly serve both our team and our scholars. The office expansion project will include:
- New office spaces for staff, interns, and volunteers.
- Dedicated workspaces for scholars, where they can receive coaching, mentorship, and career development support.
Expanding our office space will provide numerous benefits to both the George Snow Scholarship Fund and the scholars we serve. Key benefits include:
- Capacity for Growth: Increased space will allow us to hire more staff, expand our volunteer program, and create a dynamic, collaborative environment that drives innovation in scholarship support services.
- Enhanced Services: With more dedicated space for one-on-one mentoring, career coaching, and academic guidance, we can provide more comprehensive, personalized support to our scholars, empowering them to succeed academically and professionally.
- Increased Impact: By providing a comfortable and efficient workspace for our team, we will be able to increase the number of scholarships awarded and better serve our current scholars, ensuring our sustainability as we continue to help students achieve their educational dreams.
- January 6, 2025 – Lease signed for additional space and to extend our current space to 2045.
- February 15, 2025 – Approval from CRA to pull permits.
- April 15, 2025 – Demolition target start.
- April 30, 2025 – Hard Hat Open House. (Prospective Donor Event)
- August 15, 2025 – Completion Date and Scholar Services Move-In.
- September 1, 2025 – Ribbon Cutting Party.
Your support of the George Snow Scholarship Fund’s Snow Success Center will directly contribute to our ability to help even more students overcome financial barriers and achieve their educational goals. This expansion is not just about more space, it’s about creating an environment where our team can work efficiently and where our scholars can receive the support they need to succeed. Together, we can continue to build a brighter future for South Florida’s students, one scholar at a time.
Naming Opportunities

Office Expansion Project Total Cost – $500,000
Our Goal is to raise $500,000, which will allow us to build and furnish the necessary offices to relocate our Scholar Services Department. This goal will include pledge gifts as well as endowment opportunities.
We will thank and honor all donors participating in this office expansion campaign. Gifts at the leadership levels will receive naming opportunities on the donor wall as well as individual space naming opportunities to honor their commitment to the project.
Pledges are payable over a three-year period. Pledging a gift is the most convenient way to give. It would be impractical, if not impossible, to reach our objectives with one-time, out-of-pocket gifts. Gifts may be made in monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annual installments at your discretion. We request that you make a 20% initial investment toward your total pledge.
These gift options offer an additional or alternative way you can support our cause. You may, for example, wish to consider gifts of securities such as stocks and bonds; gifts of real estate are also a wonderful way to support this important endeavor.
